Happy Wellness Wednesday and Official Week 3 Launch Day! 🌿✨

We’re three weeks deep into the Good Day Summer Series, and what a journey it has already been. From declaring “It’s Gonna Be a Good Day,” to learning to “Pray More, Worry Less,” and now stepping into “Enjoy The Little Things” — each week has built upon the last, gently guiding us toward a more intentional, peaceful, and joy-filled summer.

Today we launch Week 3 with a message that feels especially timely: “Enjoy The Little Things.” In a world that constantly pushes us to chase the next big thing, God is inviting us to slow down and truly savor the everyday gifts He places right in front of us.

“Life is not made up of big moments. It is made up of thousands of little ones — and the ones who enjoy them live the fullest lives.”

Wellness Wednesday: Enjoy The Little Things

Wellness is not only about big lifestyle overhauls. Sometimes the deepest healing and greatest joy come from learning to notice, appreciate, and fully experience the small, ordinary moments that make up our days. A sunrise. A heartfelt conversation. The taste of a meal enjoyed without distraction. A child’s laughter. A quiet walk outside. These little things are not distractions from real life — they are real life.

This week’s engraving and challenge are beautifully designed to help us rediscover the art of presence and gratitude in the everyday.

Reflection
In our fast-paced culture, it’s easy to live on autopilot. We rush from one task to the next, scrolling through life while missing the beauty happening all around us. We chase big experiences, thinking they’ll finally make us happy, while overlooking the thousands of small gifts God scatters throughout our ordinary days.

But Jesus lived differently. He noticed the lilies of the field. He paid attention to the birds. He took time to sit with children, to share meals with friends, to watch the sunset. He was fully present. And in that presence, He found joy, taught profound truths, and showed us what it means to live abundantly.

The new engraving “Enjoy The Little Things” is a gentle but powerful invitation back to that way of living. Every time you see it on your wrist, let it pull you out of distraction and into the present moment. Let it remind you that the good life isn’t waiting for you somewhere in the future — it’s available right here, in the small things, if we’ll only slow down enough to see them.

This week’s 7-day challenge gives us practical ways to do exactly that:

  • Watch one sunrise or sunset
  • Eat one meal without your phone
  • Go on a gratitude walk
  • Write down one little thing that made you smile
  • Spend time outside every day
  • Call someone you love
  • Capture one beautiful moment daily

These aren’t complicated. They’re simple, doable, and deeply restorative. When we slow down to watch a sunset, we remember how big God is and how small our problems are. When we eat a meal without distraction, we taste food more fully and connect with people more meaningfully. When we go on a gratitude walk, we train our eyes to see God’s goodness everywhere.

The science supports this too. Studies on mindfulness and gratitude consistently show that people who regularly notice and appreciate small positive moments experience lower stress, better mood, stronger relationships, and improved overall well-being. But for us as believers, it goes even deeper — it becomes an act of worship. Every time we pause to enjoy a little thing, we’re saying “Thank You, Father” to the Giver of every good gift.

This is wellness at its most beautiful — not striving but receiving. Not chasing but noticing. Not waiting for joy but choosing to see the joy that’s already here.

As we move through Week 3, let’s commit to being fully present. Let’s allow the little things to become big blessings. Let’s wear this engraving as a daily reminder that a good life is built one grateful, present moment at a time.

Christian Faith Points

  • Every good and perfect gift comes from God — including the little things.
  • Presence is a form of worship.
  • Gratitude transforms ordinary moments into sacred ones.
  • Slowing down allows us to hear God’s voice more clearly.
  • Joy is found in the journey, not just the destination.
  • A heart that notices little things is a heart that stays close to God.
  • This summer is an opportunity to live more fully and gratefully.
