You may have noticed the quiet stretch since the Good Day Summer Series ended. That pause was intentional. For the past couple of weeks our team has been reading through the thousands of emails you sent — stories of breakthroughs, hard-won lessons, and quiet shifts that happened during those ten weeks.
Some of you wrote about declaring a good day when everything felt heavy. Others shared how praying more quieted the noise of worry, how noticing the little things restored gratitude, or how choosing to focus on the good changed the atmosphere in your homes. These messages have not just been encouraging. They have been clarifying. They remind us why this work matters.
Please keep writing. Your stories are part of what keeps us moving forward. We are sincerely grateful for every one of them.
While we were reading, we also took a step we have been preparing for years: the launch of the Inspirational Echo podcast. This has been an idea we have carried for a long time. Our hope is that the stories we share through the podcast will deepen the value we bring beyond our daily blog posts — creating another space for real conversations about faith, hope, and people who are doing quiet or bold Kingdom work that inspires others. Thoughtful Thursday: Nick Vujicic, No Limits, and the Stories That Keep Us Going
At the recent Pittsburgh Life Surge we had the opportunity to sit down backstage with Nick Vujicic. Born without arms or legs, Nick has spent decades speaking to millions around the world about faith, resilience, and purpose. His powerful new film, No Limbs, No Limits: The Nick V Story, is his cinema debut and arrives in theaters nationwide on September 25.

This is not just another speaking engagement captured on camera. It is the first time Nick’s full story is being told on the big screen for audiences across the country. The film includes never-before-seen family footage and walks through the early, difficult years with honesty and hope. Nick shared that revisiting those moments was emotional, even for him. He hopes people leave the theater believing that their own limitations do not get the final word — that God’s purpose can still break through in the most unlikely places.
I am looking forward to taking my wife April and all five of our kids to see it together. Stories like this are meant to be experienced as a family. They spark conversations that last long after the credits roll.
Speaking of family, I brought our five-year-old daughter Maverick backstage with me for the interview. She sat quietly and politely through the entire conversation, listening carefully. Afterward she had a few moments to speak with Nick. On the way home she told me that when she grows up she wants to be just like him. She was deeply impressed by how passionately and confidently he shared his faith in Christ and how he encourages people all over the world to grow that relationship. She has already decided she wants to be part of our future interviews. Moments like that remind me why we do this work — not only for the people in the seats, but for the next generation watching closely.
In our conversation Nick talked about the difference between standing on a stage in front of thousands and letting a film carry the same story into living rooms he will never enter. He was honest about the hardest parts of growing up without limbs and about the season when he felt he had no purpose at all. The turning point, he said, came when the question shifted from “Why me?” to “What are You going to do with me, Lord?” That change in question changed the direction of his life.
He also offered practical encouragement for anyone who feels limited: stop letting those limitations define your identity or your future, and begin taking the next faithful step available to you today. In the deeper part of the conversation we talked about the moment Jesus became real to him, how walking with God through physical limitation has shaped his understanding of the Lord’s character, and what Kingdom impact looks like for him now — remaining faithful to the people and the message he has been given, one conversation and one stage at a time.
