Spark Saturday: There Is Joy on the Other Side

Spark Saturday: There Is Joy on the Other Side

Hey Inspiration Co. family,
As we come to the close of the Beauty After the Storm engraving series, our hearts are full. Over the past weeks, thousands of you from all over the world opened up and shared your stories with us. Stories of loss, redemption, resilience, quiet miracles, and hard-won hope. Stories that prove again and again that God really does bring beauty after every storm.
Today we share our final story from this series, and it is a powerful one.
Today’s special engraving (available only today, April 11, 2026): THERE IS JOY ON THE OTHER SIDE
Asia’s Story
Asia Williams from Mississippi walked into the Inspiration Co. store in Nashville in December 2024 while in the middle of one of the hardest seasons of her life. She left with a bracelet bundle, not just as jewelry, but as a daily reminder to keep pushing through.
It’s been a rough year. Marriage troubles, a sudden miscarriage, financial pressure, challenges with her children, and a mental breakdown that left her feeling hit from every angle. There were days when the pain felt overwhelming and the future looked dark.
But in the middle of that storm, Asia heard a gentle word from the Lord: There is so much more on the other side of this.
She began to speak it out loud as her daily affirmation:“There is peace on the other side of this…”
“There is joy on the other side of this…”
She chose to believe that whatever she felt like she was losing or missing in this season was waiting for her on the other side — bigger and better than she could imagine. She reminded herself that God is working all things together for her good. She just had to keep going and make it to the other side.
Asia says the bracelets and the daily emails have been a consistent source of encouragement, helping her hold on when things felt heaviest.
Reflection: There Is Joy on the Other Side
Asia’s story is a beautiful and fitting final testimony from the Beauty After the Storm series. It reminds us that storms are real, painful, and often multi-layered — but they are never the end of the story.
When life hits from every direction at once — when marriage struggles, loss, financial stress, parenting challenges, and mental health battles collide — it’s easy to feel like the darkness will never lift. The grief, the pressure, the heartbreak, and the mental exhaustion can make it feel like there is no way out. Many of us know that heavy, weary feeling all too well.
Yet Asia did something powerful in the middle of her storm. Instead of focusing only on what was falling apart, she began to speak hope over her future. She declared that joy, peace, and better days were waiting on the other side.
That simple but faith-filled declaration became her lifeline.
This is the heart of Spark Saturday and the beautiful message we’ve carried throughout this entire series: Even when the storm is raging, there is always another side. And on the other side, God has joy prepared for us.
The Bible echoes this promise over and over. Psalm 30:5 tells us, “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” The night may feel long — sometimes it feels like years — but morning always comes. Joy always returns. The storm does not get the final word.
By speaking “There is joy on the other side,” Asia was training her heart to look beyond the current pain and trust God’s bigger picture. She wasn’t denying the hurt. She was refusing to let the hurt define her future.
As we close this series today, we look back over all the beautiful stories shared and see one consistent thread: God never wastes our pain.
We heard from Greg, whose early loss and battle with addiction shaped him into a loving father with deep purpose.
We heard from the woman who turned a diabetes diagnosis and 120-pound weight loss into a powerful health comeback, one faithful day at a time.
We heard from Thira, whose heartbreaking loss of her daughter taught her that God is near the brokenhearted and that He takes us up.
We heard from Sherrillan, whose life felt like it was unraveling and who found peace in the simple practice of being still and knowing that God is working.
We heard from Maria, who is walking through the silent pain of infertility and holding tightly to the promise that she prayed and the Lord will grant it in His perfect timing. And now we hear from Asia, who is choosing to believe there is joy on the other side of a year filled with loss and pressure.
Every single story has shown us the same truth: storms come, but they do not stay forever. Pain is real, but it is never the end. God is always at work — turning ashes into beauty, mourning into joy, and brokenness into purpose.
The engraving “THERE IS JOY ON THE OTHER SIDE” is the perfect way to close this chapter. It doesn’t deny the storm. It simply points us forward with hope. It says the tears you’ve cried, the nights you’ve endured, the battles you’ve fought — they are not wasted. There is joy waiting on the other side.
On this Spark Saturday, as we say goodbye to the Beauty After the Storm series, let today’s engraving spark fresh hope in your heart. Speak it over your situation. Write it down. Wear it as a reminder. Let it lift your eyes from the storm to the promise that joy is coming.
You are going to make it to the other side.
And when you do, you will look back and see how God carried you, strengthened you, and prepared joy for you all along.
Thank you to every single person who shared their story during this series. Your vulnerability has encouraged thousands. Your testimonies have reminded us all that God is faithful, that beauty really does come after the storm, and that there is always joy on the other side.
