Happy Feel Good Friday! 🌞

There’s something special about Fridays. The weekend is calling, the sun feels a little brighter, and hope seems to rise just a bit higher. Today, I want to remind you of a simple but powerful truth: It’s already a good day.

You don’t have to wait for summer to officially start. You don’t have to wait until everything is perfect. Right now, in this moment — it’s already a good day.

In just five days, on Tuesday, May 27, we’re launching something that’s going to help you live this truth all summer long: the Inspiration Summer Challenge: 10 Weeks to Live Inspired.

“You don’t have to wait for the perfect day. You can choose to make today a good day — starting right now.”

It's Already a Good Day

Feel Good Friday: It’s Already a Good Day

I’ve learned that the best summers don’t begin when the calendar says they should — they begin the moment we decide to choose joy, gratitude, and faith. That choice can start today. This is why the very first week of the Inspiration Summer Challenge is all about “It’s Gonna Be a Good Day.”

A special note today: This post is written with so much love and excitement for every one of you who is ready to step into a lighter, brighter, more joyful season.

Mini Sermon Reflection: This Is the Day

Psalm 118:24 tells us: “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”Notice that it doesn’t say “when everything goes right” or “when summer finally gets here.” It says this day — the one you’re living right now. God made today. And because He made it, we can rejoice in it.This is the heartbeat of the Inspiration Summer Challenge. We’re not waiting for perfect conditions. We’re choosing to celebrate and live inspired starting today.

Why Choosing a Good Day Matters

When you begin your day declaring “It’s gonna be a good day,” something powerful happens:

  • Your eyes start looking for goodness instead of problems.
  • Your heart becomes more grateful.
  • Your attitude lifts, and that energy spreads to the people around you.

The Inspiration Summer Challenge is designed to help you turn this mindset into a habit. Starting next Wednesday, you’ll receive:

  • A beautiful new bracelet with an uplifting message
  • Matching shirt and hat designs
  • A fun, practical 7-day challenge

All created to help you wear the words and truly live them every single day.

Christian Faith Points

  • Today is a gift from God — we get to choose joy in it (Psalm 118:24).
  • The Inspiration Summer Challenge helps us renew our minds one day at a time.
  • A positive, faith-filled thought can change the direction of your entire day.
  • Summer is a blank slate — let’s fill it with goodness and gratitude.
  • When we focus on God’s goodness, we naturally become more joyful.
  • Small daily choices create big transformation over 10 weeks.
  • We do this together as the Inspiration Nation.

Your Feel Good Friday Story

Take a moment right now and ask yourself: What would change if I decided right now that today is already a good day?Speak it out loud: “It’s gonna be a good day!” Then do one small thing that brings you joy — play your favorite song, step outside into the sunshine, text someone encouragement, or simply thank God for three things.
